The pilot rises up from his seat and stops at the end of the short corridor. This is something nobody showed him in pilot training. The sky above them with… no…the sky is not above them – they’re cruising through the sky. One half of the plane was sucked out as well as the guy with the wife and kid – he’s dead. The three stand deeply moved. They have never seen anything as real and as distant and as relevant to their lives as what they have seen this very moment. The sky is so relaxing – it always works, even when you’re falling from it. Even if the water covers two thirds of the earth, the sky covers it all; and it’s peaceful and airy, fertile, deep.
