The great ...

The great thing about getting through one book–hard-won, long-delayed, finally, finally–is that you’re immediately equipped to move onto another book…and as long as you don’t pause or interrupt that momentum you begin to think you’ve resuscitated the habit of reading once and for all. This is a grand (though ordinary) feeling–how I always imagined adulthood to be. It’s really good.
